I'm an aunt!

Sweet baby Hayes was born on May 1, 2013.

Of course, he is totally adored.

This sweet dude is almost already 3 months old!

Since I am three hours from Tyler, Ashley, and Hayes that really stinks but I'm lucky that I get lots of pictures to keep up with this boy since he is getting bigger and learning new things everyday!

Jackson got a fresh look too!

Jack Jack got a new super cool new tag for his collar!

I ordered it from Sofa City Sweethearts on Etsy.

They have lots of other cute stuff like these bow ties:

Aren't they awesome? Just had to share!

Happy New Year!

We rung in the new year in Palacios with Haley and Jamie and their kiddos!

Our celebration was complete with homemade decorations and party hats, sparklers, midnight kisses, little girls in fancy dresses, paper ballerinas,  magic wands, and a whole lotta laughter!

Hello 2012!

Let it Be Christmas

Let it Be Christmas is my favorite song for Christmastime.
A good reminder to just let things be.

So much goodness is going on during this time of year but the hustle and bustle can get in the way sometimes. So much love to soak up nearly everywhere you go.  I like the idea of just letting it be Christmas in my heart so I can see past the rushing and treasure the joy, love, and peace.
Enjoy the goodness of the season! I am! :)

I was going to post a youtube version of the song, but I couldn't find a good video that I liked so I decided to put some pictures of my past few Christmas seasons together!

We are Thankful!

We spent Thanksgiving in Austin with Chalon's family including a pilgrim.

There was pudding eating...
and jump rope making...

fact sharing...
and machine building...
story reading...

turkey cooking...
and card playing...
birthday celebrating...
Paper writing and video game playing...

And a whole lotta love!
