So I've been in College Station since the 3rd of January and I am really enjoying my time here. I haven't done too much really. I've just been trying to get things picked up around here before school starts. And on Tuesday and Wednesday I picked up Shelby from day care and kept her for a few hours. I took down my old calendar and replaced it with fresh, clean, blank, upcoming days. All that I have on it now is birthdays! But soon it will be filled with assignments, projects, deadlines, and other events!
I'll have to post another picture at the end of the semester! Today is Nathan Poe, my neighbor's, 22nd birthday. I adore my neighbors. They are actually in Colorado skiing right now so they aren't here for us to celebrate his big day with him. But I love to bake interesting cakes and cupcakes so I couldn't resist making him something even though he isn't here to enjoy it with us.
He really likes extreme animals and can tell you all kinds of random facts about the strangest animals so I though he would like this alligator! I posted this same picture to his facebook for him to delight in my gift for him! :)
(I'd like to add that Jackson enjoyed 18 of these fabulous cupcakes! Which I thought was fine as long as he didn't any green on the carpet and he didn't!)
For Christmas I asked for a Super Nintendo and Donkey Kong just like I had when I was a child. And my brother got it for me! :) So last night Lauren and I played and played. Together, we are pretty good! Hopefully tonight we'll beat the game. Today her status was "lauren abbott does not remember so much cursing during Donkey Kong when she was younger" haha
I am loving playing it though. It's been fun!
