As Thanksgiving approaches, I am noticing that the holiday is holding more significance for me this year. The past few months have flown by. I've been working at the school, working on grad school, getting excited about Chelsie's wedding (next week!), and just living the day to day. It has added up to a lot for me and many times I have been overwhelmed including today as I worked on writing papers. But as I slow down for Thanksgiving I am realizing how wonderfully things have been falling into place for me in the past few months. I have so much to be thankful for and it makes me very glad that we have this holiday with no bigger purpose than to slow down, enjoy what's good in life, and be thankful!
Being grateful now makes me realize how much I have rushed through life not counting my blessings! So I think I need a project for my home to be a helpful reminder! Maybe one of these!
