Today I came across this awesome valentine cookie recipe after a good friend had pinned it onto pinterest. I knew this recipe was going to help me get into the Valentine spirit so I got to work on these little guys just as soon as I saw the pin!
I got the recipe from HERE. It has very detailed instructions plus a video. But I was so anxious to get going that I just printed the short version and got to work. I would recommend reading what they have to say. (I made my dough too smooth.)
And this right here is what you call a little bit of Valentine magic:
That's right... that chocolate chip wanted to be heart so it went right on ahead and turned into one!
So as cute as they are, they are not very tasty. They taste a lot like butter.
But I'm not giving up! I will try again!
