Although I wasn't a teacher in my own classroom, I feel justified in saying that
I have completed my first year of teaching!
There have been ups and downs all year but I can truly say - mostly ups.
My experiences in the library this year will be something that sticks with me forever.
As well - I don't think I'll ever forget my time as a lunch monitor.
This year has taught me so much: about children, about teaching, about libraries, about teachers, about children's literature, about elementary schools... the list could go on and on.
I have made so many great friends this year.
It certainly helps to have an awesome partner in crime each day!

I am nervous about what next year brings. Things are still not settled and may not be for a few months.
So for now I dream of a classroom of my own.
No seriously, I dream about it!
And I buy school bus bags!
