So it was a (kind of) hard decision... but I've decided to post the link to my blog on my facebook. I feel like if I think that somebody actually reads it I might write more. Today I was trying to think what the true purpose for me keeping a blog was. I've decided I like doing it because the memories I'm making are priceless. I feel like looking back on my college days years from now will be fun. I also think my mom would enjoy reading this... but I don't think she knows it exists (yet!).
Today I went for my first day at my new babysitting gig. I'm going to work Mondays and Fridays 8-4... much better than my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7-5. I love the kids and am very happy that their family is welcoming me into their home and into the lives of their children. I always feel like a new babysitting job is the beginning of a new journey because I usually spend a good amount of time with the families I sit for. I also can't help but to think about the potential of the children in my future wedding. Of course I know that I don't even have a potential husband but I don't find that any reason to prevent me from thinking about my potential flower girl or ring bearer! :)
Tonight the finale to The Bachelor aired. I kind of lost interest in the show when Jake kept letting all the good girls go. Also since my roommates decided to read the spoilers and ruin the show about three weeks ago it just wasn't all that much fun anymore! ;-) But tonight I poked my head in there to watch some of the very end where he let Tenley go, and kept... VIENNA!
I must say, I'm not exactly her biggest fan! What a letdown! But what made the show worth watching was the revelation of the Dancing With the Stars Cast...
So as if Kate Gosselin wasn't ridiculous enough... Jake will also be dancing! Although, I think these are silly people to include on the show... I'm interested enough now to want to watch. Good Job ABC. You've got me hooked. But wait... there's more! They also revealed that Allie will be the new Bachelorette! Now that I am excited about!
And just one picture of my precious dog...
He too seemed a little disappointed that Jake chose Vienna.
