Yesterday, Chelsie's little sister, Lindsey, moved into her new apartment in College Station. It doesn't seem possible... but little Lindsey is going to college!
I really can't believe that she's already old enough to be coming to school. I can remember the days of Chelsie and I helping with her birthday parties, dressing up her and her friends when we had sleepovers, and sometimes trying to keep our distance from "the annoying little sister". Which of course she is not! We just thought we were too old to be playing with someone so small. The feeling is somewhat similar now that she has moved down here. How can she be old enough to be doing the same thing we are? But of course now we are very happy to have her join us! It's funny how time flies!
So last night after she got all moved in and had dinner with her family we had a little celebration for her birthday that is coming up this week at the house since she won't be at home to celebrate with her parents!
Since my camera is still not working, I'm limited to what I can get with my iPhone camera for right now! So we really didn't get as many pictures as we probably would have, had we a working camera.
So since we don't have pictures of everybody, I'd like to add that in addition to the people pictures, I was there as well as Chalon, Stacie, and Mimi! Oh, and of course, Jackson!
I know how special it was for me to have my older brother here in College Station for my first semester of college. It certainly eased the transition and allowed for a little less hesitationas I came to college. I am so happy that Lindsey and Chelsie get too share this special experience as well. It is certainly a time to be treasured!
