Some new JuNk!

Since I've been in college I haven't had a headboard or footboard. Simply a mattress on a frame... which worked just fine and I've been pretty content with. But qu a few times, every once in a while, I would get the bug for decorating and go out in search of the perfect cheap bed that I could paint or change to make work in my room. I have perused many used furniture shops, thrift shops, and garage sales for a bed but never successful finding the one that was just right!

Well yesterday was different! The Junk Gypsy company held a warehouse sale yesterday. Chelsie and I headed out there in search of something unique to bring back home. But I had never guessed that I would see this!!

Well it took a little debating back and forth with myself about getting it... but after about 8 minutes of that I decided I NEEDED that bed!

So last night Chalon and I brought her home!

It took a little bit of riggin her up, since my bed is a queen and it is for a full!

(notice the sweet note, so I'll never forget it's history!)

But it didn't take long until she was as sturdy as a rock!

It fits just right! I absolutely love it!

The pink petticoat was another find from yesterday! And that color drip candle by the lamp...also from junk gypsy!

(Stocked up on those when they were in town around Christmas last year!)

Jackson loves it too! :)

So as soon as I got the bed all set up, I got to work on a little something special for someone very special! :)

all while munchin' on sunflower seeds!
